Math is important!

Math is fundamental to all sciences

Our experience tells us that a young student's self esteem plummets with poor marks in math. That's why they shun math. Poor marks are a reflection of their understanding of the basic concepts and tools. Poor understanding is a reflection of exposure to the joy-experience-discipline of competency in mathematics. We aim to change that experience.

Why is math important? Mathematics is the fundamental discipline that many other subjects are based upon ... physics, philosophy, linguistics, economics and medicine to name a few.

In school, math classes are built upon what was taught in the last class, the last year. The classroom curriculum moves fast; too fast for a student that doesn't have a firm grasp on the fundamentals.

Any system of mathematics is based upon 4 to 5 assumptions such as integers, zero, positive-negative, infinity. Students of math must be given a path to embrace these concepts and step into the math-awareness-learning-understanding-clarity journey.

We first assess a student's gaps in learning in mathematics. Then we fill in the gaps in a collaborative relationship with the student using homework and exam preparation to achieve our students' goals.
